In this role, you will:

KAYAK is seeking a highly-motivated Sales Manager, APAC, based out of South East Asia, who is passionate about delivering results and solving problems for their partners. As Sales Manager, you will manage existing key advertising partners and prospect new business opportunities across the region. You’ll engage industry marketers and agencies to help evaluate their business needs and present strategic media solutions to generate advertising revenue for KAYAK. Your ultimate goal will be to achieve revenue targets while helping contribute to the future success of KAYAK’s overall advertising offerings.

Deliver advertising revenue against assigned sales targets

Retain and grow ad revenue across key clients and agency accounts

Prospect new business across various industries and manage a strong pipeline of revenue opportunities

Build strategic proposals, media plans and presentations for your advertisers based on their goals, objectives and measured campaign performance

Collaborate closely with customer success team to actively monitor performance and maintain consultative relationships with clients that include KPI-setting, upselling and ongoing optimisation recommendations

Conduct in-depth data analysis to form and deliver actionable recommendations for both your advertisers and internal teams

Work cross-functionally with internal partners to develop new ad product ideas and process improvements

Stay attuned and responsive to the evolving competitive landscape of digital advertising and travel search sites to help identify and contribute ideas on how we can remain best-in-class

Please apply if:

3+ years of client facing digital advertising experience in sales, digital marketing, or similar work history

Solid sales background, with a consistent track record of meeting/exceeding targets

Strong presentation and verbal, written and visual communication skills

Advanced relationship-building and negotiation skills

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills coupled with a willingness to investigate issues and provide creative solutions

Able to facilitate collaboration between internal cross-functional teams (including our various regions globally)

Organised, goal driven and ambitious self-starter with ability to deliver on targets without constant supervision

Deep understanding of the online media industry and/or travel in relation to your function, as well as more broadly

Hungry to learn, enjoys working in a dynamic, fast paced environment

Existing network of advertising and marketing relationships across South East Asia is a plus

Qualification in Marketing, Advertising, Statistics, or Business; MBA is a plus

Ability to communicate in English, any additional Asian language will be a plus

Professional experience with Microsoft Office and Google Suite. Data Management/CRM systems (Salesforce, Google Analytics, etc.) are a plus.
