Settle is on a mission to make buying inventory super easy. Since the company’s inception in 2019, we’ve been building a cashflow management platform that allows founders and small business owners to more easily manage their company’s financial health with a mix of accounts payable and flexible financing tools. We already work with some amazing brands that you probably know and love, like Starface, Ghia, and Italic.

Our small but growing team was founded in San Francisco along with an engineering hub in Lviv, Ukraine. We’re building a fully distributed team and support you working from wherever you are. About the Opportunity

As part of our software Direct Sales team, you’ll be focused on sourcing, prospecting into, and closing customers that fit our ideal client profile.

The ideal candidate for this role will be a Player/Coach persona who can close their first ~50 deals unassisted, while coordinating in parallel with the Head of Revenue on hiring/expansion plans for their team. You’ll also have a unique opportunity to attend trade shows and other industry events, representing Settle to our prospects and existing clients!

What you’ll do:

Develop and maintain an in-depth knowledge of Settle’s products and services
Bring Settle’s cash flow management platform to market in the CPG e-commerce and retail space
Creative outbound prospecting within Tech Stack i.e (Salesforce, Apollo, Linkedin Sales Navigator, ChatGPT, and Loom)
You’ll engage closely with founders, accountants, operations leaders as well as their in house finance teams or 3rd party accounting partners
Achieve and exceed weekly/monthly KPI and Performance metrics (calls, meaningful connections, opportunities created, deals closed, etc..)
You’ll partner closely with other entities in our Commercial org to identify and nurture cross-sell opportunities
Provide robust and usable feedback to the product team to ensure we have a maximally sellable product
You’ll work with Commercial leadership to build a plan to grow the team based on the addressable market, goals, and capacity planning exercises

What you’ll need:

3+ years of closing experience in Software/SaaS or Financial Tech sales
Great written and oral communication skills
A passion for working with SMBs and helping them succeed
Proven track record of being in the top 10% – 20% of your past company
Outbound lead sourcing experience (70% to 80% self generated pipeline)
Ability and willingness to overcome objections and roadblocks, be resilient, adaptable, and effective with communication
Experience with best in class tools such as: Salesforce, Apollo, Linkedin Sales Navigator, ChatGPT, and Loom
Experience working with higher volume, faster sales cycles, and can display a sense or urgency both internally and externally
Bachelor’s degree (bonus points for a finance or accounting degree)
You’re a team player and builder – you like to coach and be coached

Nice to have:

Experience working with CFOs, Corporate Controllers, and VPs of Finance – or similar professional suite
Industry knowledge of Accounting Firms and experience in channel selling or FinTech


This role has an annual starting salary (OTE) range of $160,000 – $200,000 + equity + benefits. Actual compensation is influenced by a wide array of factors including but not limited to your individual skills and experience.
