We are looking for a dynamic, self-motivated, and ambitious strategic thinker with a successful track record to join our Sales leadership team as a Regional Sales Director for the eastern region. This position will report to UpGuard’s VP of Sales in North America. Our Sales teams are focused on new customer acquisition, driving the entire company forward by bringing our SaaS platform to new customers. We are a tight-knit, high-energy team that works closely with Sales Development and Sales Engineering.
UpGuard’s US sales performance team has exceeded quota for the past year and we’re looking for a leader to help us expand our success in 2024 and beyond. You will lead a team of Account Executives with a winning track record and have the opportunity to make an immediate impact and scale the team.

What will you accomplish?

Lead a team of Account Executives focussed on net new Mid-Market and SMB accounts
Hire, mentor, and develop a driven sales team
Accurately forecast monthly and quarterly sales results
Drive the strategy and executive relationship for top opportunities
Be the champion for your region, ensuring teams are working together to improve results (SDRs, Sales Engineering, Revenue Operations, Marketing, Customer Success, etc)
Use metrics and data to continually assess sales performance and drive initiatives
Ensure excellent adherence to UpGuard’s sales process and deal hygiene standards within the Sales team
Foster a culture of accountability
Build close alignment between team leaders and individual contributors to accommodate better mentorship and career development opportunities for high-performers

What do we need from you?

Have a prior track record of success with a minimum of 2 years of Sales Leadership where you’ve managed and ideally recruited and trained a highly successful Sales team and at least 3 years of quota-carrying experience
Have prior experience in B2B SaaS selling technical solutions
Have demonstrated the ability to plan daily and weekly activities for a sales team, monitor performance, measure results, and utilize insights to drive performance
Experience leveraging Sales technology stacks such as Hubspot (CRM), and Gong (Revenue Intelligence) to coach your team
Be a problem solver with an innate ability to simplify complex problems both internally and externally to make it easy for people to work with us and each other
Demonstrated leadership with an executive presence and proven ability to influence at all levels
Care deeply about what matters most to our customers and our team and a focus on building meaningful relationships and partnerships
Have a goal-oriented mindset and thrive working as part of a team to succeed by listening, sharing ideas, and inviting differences of opinion

Generous compensation: The on-target salary range for this role is between $220,000 and $260,000. Compensation offered will be determined by factors such as location, level, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
