Marketing Executive

We’re seeking an energetic Marketing Executive to join our Commercial team and supercharge our content and collateral, whilst developing our events presence. We’re looking for someone with a passion for working super collaboratively to design, refine and generate thought leadership, content, imagery and collateral that showcases to prospects and clients just how revolutionary our product can be.

What we’d like you to do…

Build and manage a content calendar for demand generation across, social media, email newsletters, nurture workflows, blog and landing pages.
Liaise with the Product Team to stay abreast of the Product Roadmap when building out the content schedule.
Be copywriter and guardian of our tone of voice to tell our story across channels.
Own the social media content calendar
Adopt a customer centric mindset, closely aligned to our Ideal Customer Profile, so you can anticipate what our audiences want to know and how you can best deliver our message in order to generate engagement at the top of the funnel.
Support the sales team in attending external events as well as hosting some of our own invite-only breakfasts and dinners
Remain agile, adaptive and act on engagement insights but always keep passion and creativity at the core of what you do.
Design skills and a creative eye would be beneficial, as this role involves crafting compelling visual assets for social media, the Appointedd website, and various marketing and sales collateral, requiring the ability to translate concepts into captivating designs.

What we need from you…

A great attitude and growth mindset is more important than direct experience, but we’d love it if you had a couple of years experience in marketing (one year as a minimum)
Experience of a start-up/scale-up environment will help you understand our pace and approach
Demonstrated record of successfully shipping content and managing marketing campaigns that showcase your creativity and critical thinking skills as well as your independence and confidence
Proven understanding of design, marketing, social and analytics tools – we use HubSpot, WordPress, Gong, LinkedIn and Canva
Laser focused attention to detail
Exceptional communication, prioritisation, and time management skills.
Fresh and innovative ideas for customer acquisition and engagement, particularly focused on a B2B enterprise audience (our core industries are in retail, Financial Services and automotive)
Strong commercial acumen, ensuring that our marketing collateral resonates with our Ideal Customer Profile (ICP) align with both user needs and business goals
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to negotiate, present findings to and collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders

What to expect of the application process…

Our interview process will consist of:

a 15 minute chat with our CCO, Elspeth
a Zoom interview with a couple of key members from our Commercial team
A presentation/task and panel interview with some of our C-suite
