Localization QA Specialist

The Localization Quality Assurance Specialist is a key contributor in developing and maintaining quality assurance (QA) standards and working with local resources around the world, to ensure KnowBe4’s delivers accurate, relevant, high-quality translations of KnowBe4’s vast library content.

Responsibilities:

Perform review of localization work from vendors and local in-country resources to ensure accurate, high-quality, fully localized/translated contentCoordinate with vendors and local offices to make sure KnowBe4 publishers adhere to set standardsPeriodic reviews of customer feedback with regard to the quality of content from users outside of the USProvide training and guidance to KnowBe4 staff/contractors who produce content in other languages and/or are localizing content Stay attune with and serves as a subject matter expert on cultural expectations of content for designated regionsPerform cultural review of content and review feedback from customers regarding cultural feedbackContribute to continual improvement of our processes, quality and efficiency as we growMaintain foreign language style guidesTake an active role in creating and supporting content that is diverse, equitable, and inclusive as outlined in the KnowBe4 DEI statementEnsure content is Web Content Accessible Guidelines (WCAG 2.1) compliant so that our content is accessible to all users

Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Language Studies, Cultural Anthropology, International Relations, Linguistics or related field/experience (Masters preferred)Ability to speak/read/write English and one additional language fluently; more languages a plus. Experience with project management softwareExperience with Google SuiteExperience with MS Office (Word and Excel)Experience with web browsers (Chrome, Internet Explorer, etc.)Experience with translations a plusStrong verbal and written communicationsFluent in GermanExcellent listening skillsExcellent time management and organization skills
