Job Description
Purpose
To lead the delivery of United Living’s internal communications strategy, to enable meaningful two-way communication with staff; promote employee engagement; encourage organisation-wide collaboration; ensure staff understand United Living’s values, priorities, and key messages; and disseminate major updates in a timely and consistent manner.
Specific Responsibilities
Develop, maintain, and constantly improve a range of internal communications channels to effectively target all staff, taking into account different working locations and desk and non-desk based staff.
To support the creation and delivery of United Living’s employee engagement strategy.
Develop and deliver internal communications campaigns and activities on key topics.
Create and disseminate high quality, creative, engaging internal communications content.
Work closely with the HR and operational teams to ensure that best practice, EDI principles and culture are communicated and embedded into our people management
Maintain and improve reporting and measurement across all activities
Create opportunities for staff to express their ideas, opinions, and concerns, and empower staff voicesBuild and maintain strong and collaborative relationships with internal stakeholders across the business.Support the Group Head of Marketing & Communications by contributing to corporate communications strategies and plans,Keep up to date on best practice in internal communications, using insights to constantly improve communications strategies and plans
Essential skills:
At least five years’ experience working within a marketing and communications environment, focusing on internal communications and employee experience.
Experience of influencing change in organisation culture
Experience of working in a fast paced, dynamic business with proven experience of aligning quickly with changing priorities
Strong stakeholder management skills
Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
Proficient in working independently, using own initiative to develop engaging and creative content
