The opportunity:
The DevOps team is focused on optimizing the flow of delivery, and is involved in the following areas:
Support product development and operations teams by developing a consistent installation and
deployment process to ensure a stable and reliable state for production systemsUnderstanding development and operations needs, produce solutions that support new features and enable increased development and deployment velocity through process and automationImprove the reliability of our infrastructure through design, monitoring and optimizationHelp engineers troubleshoot issues and collaborate on solutionsEducation and sharing of DevOps best practices throughout the wider organizationDeploy, run, monitor and administer cloud native applications
Key responsibilities:
Ownership of the build and deployment infrastructure, maintain stability and uptimeAdministration of Azure DevOps and security tooling as part of CI/CD and SSDLCCoach, mentor and develop teammates to help them excel and reach their full potentialFoster a collaborative, high-performing team that is focused on delighting clientsIdentify and promote areas for growth and improvement within the teamCollaborate with other teams to define and prioritize tasks for the teamManage the backlog in collaboration with the team and other stakeholdersChampion the adoption of an Agile and DevSecOps mindset
Salary:
The typical hiring range for this position is from $140,000 CAD to $160,000 CAD annually. The salary offered is based on market location and may vary depending on skills, experience, and internal equity. We offer a comprehensive benefits package and perks as a part of our compensation package.

You have previous experience with people management and leading a teamYou have experience with running cloud native applicationsYou can work across the organization, influencing beyond your direct responsibilitiesYou have proven experience driving organizational changes related to DevOpsYou have hands-on experience with hyperscaler environments such as AWS and Azure, including container orchestrationYou have a proven track record of managing stakeholder expectationsYou are familiar with all aspects of the software release cycleYou enjoy contributing to a happy, high-functioning team, bringing attributes such as teamwork, empathy, respect, courtesy & discretion
