What you will be doing:
Responsibilities:
Responsible for daily validation of accuracy of revenue billing.
Collaborate with other departments to ensure billing accuracy.
Address customer complaints and questions, including routing them to other departments if needed.
Communicating with customers and other departments, resolving issues, and providing clarifications.
Assist with customer / third-party freight auditors on account reconciliations.
Maintain tracking of all open billing communications and ensure completion of tasks
Resolve any billing issues or mistakes.
Assist with Accounts Receivable collections.
Preparing reports as needed.
Ensuring customers’ billing accounts are set up correctly and according to their requirements.
Reconciling invoices with financial statement reports and resolving any discrepancies.
Support the finance team with ad hoc requests and monthly close
Analyze billing procedures and identify opportunities to improve the process.
Who You Are:
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field.
5+ years of experience in a related role.
Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
Strong ability to prioritize.
Energetic team player who is hungry to learn and excel at their role.
Excellent communication and people skills.
You are meticulous and have strong critical thinking skills.
Strong analytical skills.
You are capable of meeting critical deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Proficient in Excel and Google Workspace programs.
Familiarity with ERP or Accounting Systems.
