About the Role

Our SEO Expert is responsible for developing, implementing, and managing search engine optimization (SEO) strategies for our clients to improve their online presence, generate more leads, and increase the effectiveness of their digital footprint.

This position requires a deep understanding of SEO and digital marketing best practices, a client-centric mindset, and excellent problem-solving abilities to ensure our clients’ content is optimized and easily findable online. In addition, it requires excellent leadership skills as this role will involve coordinating with our SEO Team to make sure they’re delivering the best results for our clients.

In this senior role, you will be at the forefront of ensuring that all our SEO services are delivered in a timely manner and without error in order to uphold our mission of delivering impactful results to our clients.

Responsibilities generally include managing client accounts and strategies, ensuring that the right content is put in front of the right people at the right time, working to improve and optimize all SEO campaigns and initiatives for our clients, and continuously reviewing all accounts to spot, predict, and solve any areas of danger where problems could arise. You will also need to run regular status reports and identify areas for growth and improvement within our SEO service environment.

Mission statement:

The primary mission of our SEO Expert is to continuously review strategies and provide SEO results that are desired by the client in a timely fashion. This includes being able to deliver high-quality work, solve simple and complex SEO problems faced by our clients, and continuously optimize the strategy for every account.

On top of that, you will need to take a very proactive approach to ensure that all SEO-related problems are solved before the client is even aware of them.

General responsibilities:

The responsibilities of our SEO Expert include, but are not limited to:

Working alongside our team of SEO Experts towards achieving and exceeding performance targets, ensuring that every client’s content is optimized, functional, and monitored consistently
Playing an active role in our team of SEO Experts by handling more complex SEO-related problems and larger client accounts
Regularly meeting with our team of SEO experts to review the work done on our client accounts
Taking ownership of the quality and efficiency of our SEO service processes and policies, and working to optimize them and resolve issues when needed
Developing and implementing robust and highly effective SEO strategies that align with the client’s objectives and that will increase their online visibility and return on investment
Working to implement on-page and off-page SEO tactics to maximize content effectiveness
Collaborating with other team members to optimize our clients’ digital footprint to improve their search engine visibility and rankings, as well as increase their organic traffic and leads.
Adopting a client-centric mindset, working to understand client goals, and tailoring SEO strategies to suit the niche, needs, and specific requirements of every client account
Running regular status reports, conducting comprehensive SEO audits, and continuously reviewing all accounts to spot, predict, and solve any areas of danger where potential SEO-related problems could arise
Continuously conducting research into current SEO trends, algorithm changes for major search engines, emerging SEO best practices, keyword strategies, and more
Working to identify challenges and inefficiencies within existing SEO strategies and implement effective solutions to bring the best results for our clients

Overall, the SEO Expert will play a pivotal role in managing, developing, improving, and monitoring the SEO solutions we provide our clients to give them the best results possible.

Position specifications:

The SEO Expert position includes committing to the following:

Full-time commitment while meeting our availability for our office hours
40-hour work week (Monday – Friday 8:30 am – 5 pm MST)
Fixed-rate monthly salary paid in USD
Receive contractor status after signing our non-disclosure agreement
Committing to a 30-day notice period after the first month
Receive onboarding training of approximately 2-4 weeks
Receiving paid days off in accordance with our Leave Policy and Public Holidays Policy


About You:


The SEO Expert needs to take a highly communicative, effective, and proactive approach to their work. You should be able to work independently with high levels of reliability, transparency, and trust. You also need the ability to work under pressure. The ideal person for this role is a rational thinker, enjoys problem-solving, and has excellent communication skills. In addition, good organizational, time management, and analytical skills will help you succeed in this position. The ideal candidate is not just an SEO Expert but also a strategic and out-of-the-box thinker who can easily navigate the complex digital landscape.

You should also feel comfortable working in a remote environment. Availability and consistency are highly important factors for us, so our SEO Expert should display these qualities when it comes to workload commitments and general availability during office hours.

Key requirements:

The SEO Expert position has the following key requirements:

At least 3 years of working experience in an SEO agency or as a freelancer
Previous experience in a senior role within the digital marketing and SEO industry
General knowledge of SEO software such as CORA, SEMRush, Screaming Frog, Surfer, etc.
Previous experience in providing SEO-related services to clients in the United States
A deep understanding of SEO trends, best practices, and core principles
Comfortable speaking & explaining industry terms to clients on face-to-face Zoom calls
An ability to use different SEO platforms effectively and efficiently
Ability to think rationally and make decisions or problem-solve independently
Possess a proactive, forward-thinking, and out-of-the-box approach to your work
Familiarity with working autonomously and managing your own time independently and effectively
Must have a stable internet connection and a laptop or PC, as well as be able to attend virtual video conferences
Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English. You must be fluent in English, although English doesn’t have to be your native language
Being open to receiving feedback and constructive criticism and improving on it, as well as giving feedback of a similar nature productively to your team
Must be available and responsive during our office hours
Must be able to work full-time consistently
