We are seeking top talent for Director of Business Development & Partnerships. As a key member of the Business Development department, you will be in a unique position to impact our revenue positively and help shape Hello Heart’s growth initiatives.
You will be responsible for consultant relationship strategy, execution, and overall management of one of the key consulting houses. You will cultivate deep relationships with consultants to maximize sales through alliances across the organization, developing joint initiatives and promoting Hello Heart inside our partner organizations to maximize sales opportunities.
The ideal candidate has Business Development experience and is an expert at building deep relationships with large, complex partners. With excellent communication skills, you will work cross-functionally with our internal customer success, BizDev, and sales teams.
Own strategic consultants’ relationship strategy and execution, including developing a partnership playbook with 1:1 relationships with key consultants.
Lead prospecting, pitching, contracting, and implementation for prospects within the consultant’s houses with our VP of Sales.
Manage and develop the consultant’s pipeline with accountability for revenue growth and opportunities development through close collaboration with Sales.
Develop and nourish trust-based relationships with practice, regional, and subject matter expert consultant leaders in large and mid-market consulting houses by staying constantly visible.
Educate consultants on Hello Heart’s capabilities, differentiators, solutions, and market approach.
Work in partnership and strategize closely with the Consultant Relations team in entirety and will report to the Chief Growth Officer
5+ years of demonstrated Business Development or Management Consulting experience in the Health Plan / PBM space.
Experience and success in end-to-end partnerships by developing an overall strategy to build/maintain pipelines and executing through prospecting, relationship building, pitching, and contracting.
100% independent with a demonstrated strong problem-solving skill set.
A strong team player who can work with multiple functions within the company.
Ability to effectively escalate to leadership matters that have a strategic impact
Go-getter that moves fast.
Prior experience in a startup.
Stellar written and verbal communication and presentation skills.
Highly organized, able to multitask, and easily adaptable to change.
Entrepreneurial, self-sufficient, and thrives in fast-paced environments.
