What you get to do:

The Bank Partnerships Associate will support OppFi in the daily management of 1 or more important bank partners working with all senior leadership and the VP of Strategy, Operational Excellence and Partnerships to:

Build product knowledge around the OppFi’s platform and bank-partner specific implementations
Partner with product, credit, marketing, legal and compliance team leads for all bank-related tech change requests, vendor approvals, marketing content review, etc.
Work to improve the process efficiency with the bank partners
Promote strategic efforts on Compliance, reporting approaches, and cycle-time efficiencies to improve partnership processes
Surface relationship or compliance concerns to management based on feedback from partners
Track issue resolutions stemming from audits, testing and monitoring and product technical defects
Support team with other bank partner plans and audit readiness efforts

What you will bring to the team:

Bachelor’s degree
2+ years of prior work experience in FinTech or financial services with a focus on technology
Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal/team-management skillsto work with bank partners / Ability to work with different styles at multiple levels of seniority
Experience excelling in a remote work environment
The willingness to take on new tasks and broaden scope of responsibilities
Knowledge about or experience with Excel (can maintain complex spreadsheets), JIRA, Slack, SalesForce, Monday.com and Trello

Reports to: Bank Partnership Lead

Job Level: Associate

The minimum salary for this role is $60,000. The total compensation package includes eligibility for performance-based bonuses as well as a 1-time equity grant based on level.

The actual offer, reflecting the total compensation package and benefits, will be at the company’s sole discretion, and determined by a myriad of factors including, but not limited to, years of experience, depth of experience, and other relevant business considerations.
