Architectural Services Representative


dormakaba is seeking an Architectural Services Representative based remotely in Phoenix, AZ. This role will report directly to the Architectural Service Manager and work closely with End User Consultants, Specification Writers, and Sales Representatives. The Architectural Services Representative is responsible for promoting dormakaba’s North American portfolio of products, developing long term relationships with Project Architects and architectural firms, and conducting and arranging on-site training for key architectural firms.

**This is a remote position in the Phoenix, AZ area**

HIRING SALARY RANGE: Base Salary $83,000 – $95,000 (Salary to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data.) Develop long term architectural customers by creating relationships based upon dormakaba’s ability to provide a deep portfolio of solutions, products, and services that reflects the bests interests of the architects’ clients
Ensure that the architectural firm’s library is fully up to date with dormakaba’s literature, technical documents, and relevant samples
Ensure that completed specifications are being sent to sales teams for action
Coordinate RFA’s and navigate approval procedures within a firm
Ensure that all specifications meets relevant local codes that the project architect may require
Prepare and present supporting documentation for the specification for the project architect
Works and coordinates with security consultants
Conduct AIA registered educational programs (“lunch & learn”) to architectural firms and association events
Consistently participate in professional training to maintains high level market and solution knowledge


Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
Must be able to make sales calls to customer sites in person
Ability to travel 50%+


Associate’s degree; technical/vocational school degree or equivalent
3+ years’ experience in the door and hardware industry
1+ years architectural sales experience
Member Construction Specification Institute (CSI)
