As an Application and System Manager you are responsible for our applications that must operate within defined quality, performance, and security criteria while also integrating with internal applications via defined gateways, your role is important in ensuring the smooth and efficient functioning of the application ecosystem.
Holistic support of the applications from an operational perspective
Implement strategies to improve the application’s performance, scalability, and responsiveness, ensuring it meets defined performance criteria.
Ensuring system stability/availability of the applications including planning of appropriate measures.
Provide technical support to users, addressing their queries and issues related to the application and its integration with internal systems.
Ensuring security and compliance requirements (ICS and PSA procedures, ITSD roadmap, …)
Responsibility for the ITIL processes (change, incident, problem and configuration management, business continuity, compliance, vendor management etc.)
Develop and execute an integration strategy that aligns with the organization’s goals. Ensure seamless data flow and communication between the application and other internal systems.
Maintain application documentation and riporting including system configurations, integration procedures, and operational guidelines (CAPE, DARWIN etc.)
technical expertise, strong IT understanding / IT service management knowledge in the areas of architecture, cloud, network infrastructure and application lifecycle
experience in application management, maintenance or operations
experience with typical AM tools (CMDB, Jira etc…)
project management skills
and a strong focus on quality, security, and performance.
strong teamwork and communication skills, as well as a structured and self-reliant approach to work
good knowledge of English is a must
ITIL service management and understanding of Operations/DevOps or optionally cloud basics
support for applications on cloud
general development tasks tend towards low-code development
knowledge of assurance frameworks or valid compliance standards
basis of common software technologies or market understanding in the area
